Blackhawks Acquire Dominik Kubalik!



The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired the rights to Dominik Kubalik from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a 2019 5th round pick.

So who is this 23 year old Czech hockey player who leads the top Swiss league in scoring?

    Hi Clay.
    Thanks for talking about Dominik Kubalik. He is now playing for HC Ambrì-Piotta (my favorite team here in Switzeralnd) and everytime I see him on the ice – I tell you – it's always like something special is about to happen.
    He's a fast skater, great shooter (very quick release), solid two-way game – which has improved a lot during this season – and also has good vision (see the total points so far: 22 goals, 29 assists in 44 games). Most importantly – in my opinion – he is a positive guy, always smiling and stays HUMBLE.
    Listen, he has everything he needs to succeed. The only questionable point is how fast he adapts to smaller rinks; but it's not "if", it's just "when", so a matter of time.
    In conclusion, I'd prefer if he stays one more year with "us" but if he decides to leave for the NHL I'm very proud to have him in my favorite team overseas 🙂
