You never know how these guys will respond when being traded from non contending teams to a Cup contender. Probably adds a new level of excitement for them. I’m getting a little more excited about Roslivic. He’s got good speed and hands.

I think the idea the Rangers have here is to focus more on depth and playmakers to enable others to shoot the puck more on 5 v 5. That is arguably our biggest weakness. Turn that into a strength and we are a legitimate contender.
I’m ok with these moves, wish Wennberg and Roslvic were better on Faceoffs.
Tony Amonte for Matteau and Noonan seemed like a horrible trade the day it was made.

my expectations for Rangers continue to dwindle as the playoffs near. The core we have is regular season good, we learned that last year. but our most talented players disappear in the post season and even though Igor looks like his old self…i've got concerns. they don't seem like a mentally strong team that can take a hit and get back up.
