And I’m excited for that how um your development the last couple years I mean I just you know obviously watched you in Minnesota the other day uh you know roast them um you know how how just like what have you done to sort of make yourself the player that you you’ve

Grown into the last couple years yeah I think um you know as you get older I think you gain experience and and maybe a little more perspective and um you know I think my my habits and habits away from the rink have changed a lot and um you know really geared towards

Being the best hockey player I can be and um yeah I mean I think that’s probably the biggest change along with experience I think experience for me was huge um you know I was in high school as you know and pretty quickly in NHL so um

Bit of a rwind there as well but um I think just you know habits and a little bit experience I think are the the main things is that the hard transition I mean you were such a dominant high school player you know one of the best probably high school players in

Minnesota’s ever seen and then you jump to this level do you almost automatically think it’s going to be the same thing and it takes like that sort of a tough adjustment yeah I mean honestly I think yeah you do think that you’re probably a little naive as as a

19-year-old right and um you know I had to learn a lot and had to grow up pretty quickly and you know I think some of that was a little hard for me and um at the same time I think made me a better person and made me a better player now

Now where I am today so um yeah I think it was all good and I’m happy with how everything went and I’m happy to be where I am now got here little um do you live out of a suitcase in a hotel for a little

Bit you have clothes how did you I mean that’s is fast yeah I was I was in Toronto so luckily I was close to Buffalo I was able to drive home and um drive home to my place in Buffalo at least and and pack a few things in a

Suitcase so I have clothes at least and uh I’m living out of suitcase still but um it’s all good I’m I’m excited to be here and excited to play for this team did you find the bino okay or did you just Uber over here how do you I I don’t

Know how that works uh I got a rental car so um I actually rode with d wherever he is um turns out he’s pretty good friends with my roommate in Buffalo so um there a good little connection there and um yeah we left extremely early and got here extremely early we

Were nervous about getting lost so um all good though it’s been yeah like I said it’s been fun for sure we talked to you yesterday like right as you got into town you know now kind of having a day to talk to the guys can you just kind of

Feel the culture and you what what all about yeah I think um obviously there’s going to be moments where where I’m learning and and have to pick up on things but um you know it’s it’s been a great great morning so far I think obviously it’s it’s very serious and
