The Canucks will be less of a team if they don't resign him. His physical presence is why his teammates play bigger than they really are.

The fact that Canucks fans were dumb enough to boo Raymond after that hit when Detroit went to Vancouver baffled me. All the arm chair refs that don’t watch anything besides Canucks feed clearly didn’t know what a dirty hit was. I’m glad zadorov took ownership for the hit and acknowledged it, but still would keep an eye on him for future questionable plays.

He's right. Doing the griddy is disrespectful to the other team. It's also disrespectful to hockey in general. If a player did that in my beer league, I'd run him. The players have to start policing this stupidity. It's a football thing and has no place in hockey.
I really respect Zadorov's humility, evident in this interview and his responses- a sign of balance and wisdom.

Zadorov is everything Tyler Myers should be. He actually is quite mobile but his physical play is outstanding. DJ Big Z and Jules are beasts on the blueline. Love his character on and off the ice and the Canucks should resign this man.
