The Athletic Grades our Trade Deadline moves

Overall – not the best moves imo. But we have a lot of future picks coming up!

I don’t think Dumba deal is that bad

People still think he is the player that he was 6 years ago, he’s not

But with that being said, our awful team play didn’t help his chances.

Could have gotten more, but we traded 3 older players that weren’t really helping us accomplish anything. Happy the younger guys get more playing time

In a market where Tyler Toffoli goes for a 2nd and a 3rd and Tarasenko goes for two 3rds, a 6th is the best you’re going to get for Zucker unfortunately. Dumba is what he is, he’s a bad player at this point. They got value and kept promises to the UFAs to move them to contenders if we weren’t in playoff contention. As good as it was going to get with the market the way it was this year, in my opinion.

Well it was the highest bid or nothing, we took the highest bids and unfortunately ours guys just weren’t valued very high anywhere.

Overall, I’m glad it wasn’t a firesale. The only piece I think will be truly missed is Zucker.

They were all UFAs and we retained $0 in salary. If they do something good with that $$ in the off-season then it’s a win.

No complaints. Cupboard is still full from picks. Plenty of cap for off season to use. Nothing truly lost. I don’t have any true criticisms.

Pundits are being snotty because *ArIzOnA*. But, whatever. We didn’t have real pieces to move and our good ones are locked up.

This wasn’t much of a deadline to get excited about anyway for AZ.

The offseason is more concerning with our entire D corps up on contract. Curious to see how that’ll change.

Pretty much how I would grade it. Not roster-breaking and I didn’t expect any blockbusters, but super underwhelming returns for what are serviceable players. More “why even bother?” than anything, for me, I guess.
