Kings are fine. Those so-called fans do not understand that the team is capped out and no wiggle room to make a major trade without giving up a haul of good prospects plus unbearable salary retention. Granted, Blakey misjudged Petersen's anchor contract and possibly PLD, but I think with PLD, if the Kings make the playoffs, we will see a different and better PLD. The trend nowadays is that you don't need a bonafide star goalie. You just have an effective defensive structure with a decent goalie while having an above average offense and able to do in-game adjustments. Then, you're set.
We need a puck moving LHD and some depth scoring, we got rumors of a goalie. Blakey is constantly chasing shiny talent over team need both in the draft and free agency and the results speak for themselves
At least he has the respect to not burn through our picks if he is getting fired soon. Lombardi kept trading them to try and save his job and it only fucked us worse. Blake had the best interest of the team in mind whether he is here or not next year
