This kinda feels bad emotionally
Has anybody ever actually seen u/seeldoger47 and Okposo in the same room?
Yeah, I sure hope our new leadership doesn’t carry on the same complacency for losing
The future is *extremely* bright
Okposo felt pretty checked out on the way out. Happy to see him leave, he has been an anchor for years and years.
He wants the younger players to carry on what exactly? LOL
I think this was the same thing he said in 2016, so.
Always has been a class act.. sorry to see him go… now go win your cup
What does the exit of Okposo and EJ do to the average age of this team?
Say what you will. Okie represented the city and the organization well. He was a class act and I’m all in on him and Rhino winning the cup.
Without a good chef, ingredients mean nothing
He could’ve hung up the towel after the concussions and still cashed in on LTIR. Guy was terrible and the reason we sucked so bad. Imagine another 6M to spend on our top 6 with eichel and Reino? Come on… he wanted to play. It’s as simple as that. Selfish considering how bad he was. Shoulda sat and came off LTIR when we made the playoffs
It’s so weird seeing okie say “they” not we when talking about the Sabres and I hate it
So when he retires we can finally do a smart thing and get him learning to coach in Rochester right? Like we fucked up Briere, Drury and basically anyone that’s came through since Ruff.
Also Florida you get this man the cup. He has been well overdo since he put his all into playing here to the point he literally had concussion issues for the majority of the first contract
Okie was a great leader for the Pups the last couple seasons.
The biggest mistake of this season imo was bringing Okie back. It was time to slap the C on Dahlin, an A on Tuch and an A on Cuzo and move on. Let them take the reins.
Okie and the ghost of Girgenson only brought the team down.
Rousek and Brent Murray on the 4th would have been the move I would have made and let them walk.
