Sjallin is a 24 year old AHL defenseman, so very little return. But they did right by the captain.

It was time to move on from Kyle the player years ago but he’s a good guy and hopefully does something cool for the Panthers in the playoffs

I do respect Okie as a player and a person. He’s been through a lot in his career and still came back a warrior. That said his contract has been deadweight on this team for half a decade, and his leadership skills are very overblown.
