Bro so many of you are so quick to trash on this team the SECOND things don’t go our way. Isn’t the entire point of a fanbase to stick with the team through the good and the bad. This subreddit is toxic and needs a culture shift bro its wild.
Constant bashing on Vasy for not playing his best, bro do you know how bad a back injury is for a goalie? I play the position, I’ve had back problems. I literally pulled a disc out of place and was sidelined for 4 months before I could go back and play, and I wasn’t nearly as good. The muscles in the back are stiff and take forever to stretch and work out again. Vasy gets a freebie this season because that sucks. Ofc nobody wants to talk about the D playing in front of him either but anyways.
This is genuinely why a lot of other NHL subreddits troll us, its a community of whining and toxicity (except Boston and Toronto they’re delusional)
Maybe its good we are losing quite a bit this season, I think we all forgot what that feels like. I’ve been a fan of this team since 2014 and we certainly had our ups and downs. This is no different. I’d be willing to believe the ones complaining about this team either joined right after we won the 2 cups or right before. You don’t know what it is to get down into the Trenches with this team I’m sorry. Maybe the old heads will agree with me idk.
Our season is NOT over, Vasy is NOT cooked, we AREN’T a shit team, stop the doom and gloom its so negative.
