Guentzel’s cap hit is $6m, slightly more than we had available before waivers clear…even if we don’t get him, this gives us a lot of flexibility to go and get guys without having to give up extra in return for retained salary. I’m guessing at the very least another depth defenseman and maybe another depth forward – definitely depth Ds out there better than TDA.

Buchnevic at 25% retained is $4.35mm.
So, hypothetically, if you send any player out or any starter down, we could afford both.
