Blackhawks have indeed traded Anthony Beauvillier to Nashville, source confirms.
Hawks traded a 5th to get him in December, he put up 6 points in 23 games, and now they get a 5th back for him. One of the stranger Hawks stints of all time.

The conditional pick they traded to Vancouver was the best of their 5th round picks. So they essential took a flyer on him, didn’t work out exactly the way they wanted, and didn’t really lose much out of it.
I can see both sides of the argument for being for or against this trade. But 5 years from now, if that, I doubt anyone will even remember he was on the team.
Best of luck to him in Nashville. Didn’t take a big gamble bringing him here. Kind of an expected return for the season that he’s had with the Hawks.
Preds fan here 👋
Can anyone tell me so stuff about this guy? What should I know?
Not the worst decision. He’s fairly young but his stats through his career seem to be flat if not declining over time, he’s a role player at best and it’s not a huge blow, considering we do have some offensive talent down in Rockford that’ll probably be called up next year (Reichel, Dach, Guttman), I’d say it’s not a bad move.
Basically evens out the 5th rounder we gave up to get him.
Oh great now we will have another IHL player to take his spot.
this season is lost and beauvillier is not part of the future. plus he’s making somewhere around 4m a year right? I’ll take the 5th round lottery ticket, it’s fine.
Kuzneznov has entered the chat?
Maybe clearing roster spots to call up a college kid or 2 after their season ends?
Kyle just making sure Nazar’s #91 is available for him when he signs
I am glad he is gone, only because I could not spell his name.
Blackhawks legend there.
Guy gets a lot of chances to score but can almost never finish.
