Eberele will likely stay if he wants to, I don’t think he is going to find the money he wants anywhere else and will likely settle for the 2 year deal at 3.5 each or will hit a deal for 3 years for less money.
Dumo can go, I like him but am not attached.
I would have been shocked if the answer was anything other than “no” for Gourde or our top D men, we already have D issues now and then why get rid of the best parts? I think Gourde, Tanev, McCann, Borgen, Dunn, Beniers, and Oleksiak among a handful of others should be our untouchables this year. Things change year to year but there are 6 or so names I don’t think we should ever be looking to let go of until they are closing in on retirement age and just wanna get the bag or a chance at a cup if we aren’t looking like that team.
I don’t see us trading Tanev, and I would like to keep Tatar, Schultz I like and am more attached to but am not opposed if the deal is slightly skewed in our favor.
Just my thoughts but I am not a GM nor have any say in the matter lol.

Whenever Friedman said anything about the Blackhawks, he was always wrong so I am inclined to believe Frank, here

As of this morning, Eberle is still a Kraken

Ebs is a 40 point player on the wrong side of 30..I know cap is going up and guys are getting expensive but you also have to factor in that any contract we give him ultimately means we aren’t getting the return for moving him so the cost increases.
We’ve been drafting forwards by the boatload..I’m sure that won’t stop this year. Committing to a (will be) 36 year old Jordan Eberle just feels like we would be paying him to sit in the 26-27 season and honestly depending on how much gas he has left in the tank we may be looking to move on in the 25-26 season.
