    Great video. Think the loss of Chityl was massive this year. Remember, he was our 2C out of camp. Perfect fill in to solidify our middle 6. Defensive metrics are also solid when you drop his PK state.

    For RW I’m torn but whomever we get id like to have 1 year of team control. We’ve had RW issues for the past 3 seasons. Vatrano would be solid. Also, Reilly Smith assuming Pittsburgh would retain.

    This guy is going to have zero impact. The bulk of your commentary was – "He's not too bad", which means he's not too good either. What a waste of a second round pick. His numbers are less than mediocrity. I'd skip Vatrano as well. Too small, he doesn't perform well against a physical team. To me this is a case of subtraction by addition. With Tarasenko going to Florida, they've become the odds on favorite to win the east.

    I know NYR's depth at C is slim so this is helpful, but I would've preferred those assets go towards acquiring Guentzel/Tuch/Buchnevich. the third line still would've benefitted bc Kakko would move down from the top line. idk it feels a little steep, especially since he's a rental, but maybe he'll mesh well.

    We still have Lafreniere to move. We should be able to get a 4th line penalty killer, and maybe if we're lucky, a bag of crab infested jock straps, in return.

    Relax people he's only a rental player, you act like Drury is not gonna get anymore players he is, people don't understand that half of the players that Drury wants the other teams want there 1st rd pick and othmann or that kid perriot for good player's & I'm glad Drury is saying no, so we will see who he gets next.

    God a second round pick for him seems a bit steep but hopefully it works definitely not a slam dunk by any stretch. I guess that’s what was needed for 50% retained. Time will tell. 💩

    I am very happy so far Drury has protected his prospects. We still until Friday to see who else Drury will negotiate for.

    I love the trade but the price the Rangers paid wasn't great. I still think it was worth it, however, losing a 2nd and a 4th round pick for a potential retail once again isn't good. "If" the rangers can free up some cap space to retain Adam, then those picks aren't as big of a loss. Very smart player and very good at passing the puck. He can also play on the wing if needed so that covers an extra winger as well if the Rangers need him to play on the wing.

    This was a great move for both teams he’s a perfect 3C and let’s Brodz play on the 4th with vesey. It’s Guentzal or bust rangers have the most assets out of remaining teams

    I don’t know what to think of this trade – Drury didn’t give up anything so it’s not gonna hurt at all. Who knows what this dude will do. I still say the defense is what needs to be fixed. Igor is not playing as well so facing teams like Florida and Boston maybe back to back in the playoffs will not be pretty. 40 shots on goal a game is a recipe for disaster!!
