From what I’ve been told tonight, Jake Guentzel isn’t going to Vancouver unless Kyle Dubas’ asking price goes down. The Canucks would love to land him. But Dubas is asking for a price that they aren’t currently willing to pay. Gonna be interesting.

Let’s be honest, we all know we are going to end up bridesmaids again. Feels like every GM in the league at this point either uses going to the Canes as a threat or as leverage to make their own moves.
Feels like teams are trying to make Pittsburgh blink first and give up guentzel for way under their asking price. We’ll see if it works
if the price is too rich for other teams I have to imagine it’ll be too rich for us too, just trying to hang in and see if something changes
Honestly, we could offer a better package than any of these teams. It’s just a matter of whether the front office is willing to pay up
