I cant believe they scratched klim against the panthers. One of the roughest teams in the league and put everything on Ben chariot to check and scrum when klim would have loved to do that.
If we get a new dman, holl plus a pick or a prospect would be a good move.
Sprong's points per 60 min is amazing but unfortunately he spend a lot of time standing around staring at the oposing teams offense. i would like to see him go somewhere else as a result. we need some solid defense.

i think we should go after Crosby. he is clearly not happy and is having a great personal season while being on a terrible team. i dont know if that is an option but lots of amazing players came to detroit at the end of thier careers and left with one or more cups.
After what we saw against Florida we need more grit and physicality on the blueline. Gudas might be one option. Holl needs to be moved out. One signing that Stevie should not have made. Edvinsson should be brought up. It sounds like the Wings may keep him in GR for their playoff run.

How about Schmaltz and Dumba from AZ for 1st, Berggren, Holl, and a later pick? They've activated Berg (possible showcase?) and play AZ on deadline day. Schmaltz has 2 years left, Dumba adds grit out back. AZ loves rehabbing defensemen (Holl), wants to add youth (Berg) and could always use more picks.
