Ya hear that Gauthier? A guy whose job it is to take shots every game wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else.

  2. “Seeler has taken to glueing himself the flyers bench in uniform, refusing to leave even to go to the bathroom”

My dude, I would love that have you as a 3LD for a long time, but if someone came knocking with the right price, then consider it a 3 month vacation, and feel free to sign back on to a Zack Bogosian type deal, we’d love to have you. But frankly you have probably played your way to a better contract that we are gonna want to pay, so go chase your bag.

Any news on Seeler’s injury from last game?

Tell your agent to stop being a fucking greasy dickhead then.

If no matter what means a team friendly contract then sure, no reason to trade him. If we’re really buying into the no one is too valuable to trade mindset (with the few obvious exceptions), the guys we keep should be the guys who play hard and want to be here.

Seeler took a year off, contemplated retirement, decided to do one more shot and see where it goes, and signed with Philly.  He was pretty much out of it, but because Chuck knew him, he gave him a chance.

It’s not shocking he wants to stay here as everything he’s said lines up with Philly making him love hockey again.  He’s done nothing but shower praise on the team, the city, front office, fans, etc.  He lights up whenever talking about the Flyers. It’s why I’m kinda shocked he’s asking for the moon and then some in contract negotiations, but he probably views this as his last chance before retirement.

I was already pretty high on him as it was, but that last game got me emotional. Watching him struggle and not be able to get up, but still try to cover shots when the play returned… Then trying to come back in the third period when he clearly still had trouble standing, let alone skating… Seeler’s Philly tough and I hope they’re able to work out something team friendly so he can stay or come back sooner than later.

Okay sign a 1.5 AAV and you can stay.

Just come back in free agency then and take a fair deal.

I just watch the games so idk about salary cap and all this other stuff but dude is literally NUMBER 1 in blocked shots in the NHL. We’re losing way more games without this guy. I get the idea of the rebuild but who wouldn’t want to build defense around a guy like this? Trade Risto

I want to see Philly retire his number one day

I like Seeler a lot but don’t pay him

2.5 x 2 years….doesnt mean he isn’t a rental if someone offers the moon for the pair of seeler/walker

I’m hearing 3 Years 3.3 Mil… I like his spirit but that’s gotta mean Walker will get dealt.
