There is a documentary that goes in depth on YouTube about his death. Good doc highly recommend

If you have Netflix, I strongly recommend “Ice Guardians.” If I remember correctly it’s about the “goons” of the 80’s who’s made a career of “enforcing” and protecting their star players.
It shines a light on the toll it takes on these guys both physically and mentally and the long term affects.

I read this story (and watched the video component) when it was first published. Brought tears to my eyes. Also I wanted to blame someone…idk, NYR medical staff and trainers? Idk maybe my thoughts were misguided
