Why the eff are we talking about trading a PK player who has given us a 39/40 P Kills and has raised our pk to above 80% on the year? 10% increase from last year. We get rid of janmark, he has 1 poInt all year and takes poopy penalties every game…
Brown is a tough one. He's arguably better than Janmark end to end. He works his ass off every time he's on the ice, he just doesn't have any finishability right now. He's obv being overpaid for his point performance but he is a very good guy to have on the team, IMO

So theoretically if they did trade brown, would the oilers still assume the cap hit next year?
He should defer the bonuses until he starts scoring. It will keep the fans off his back.
