Chris Pronger joins the show & trade rumours | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk March 4

The Edmonton Oilers went into the weekend with two games on the schedule and came away with four points.

The first came on Saturday in what was a tightly contested game versus the Seattle Kraken. Brett Kulak was the unexpected hero in the 2-1 victory. The following night was a much different game versus the Pittsburgh Penguins with the Oilers dominating Sidney Crosby’s squad 6-1.

Two very different games for the Oilers but the same outcome, which is the most important thing. With the two wins, Edmonton now moves ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights in the Pacific Division. They now trail the Vancouver Canucks by nine points with four games in hand. Can they do it?

Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will discuss the Pacific Division race today at noon on Oilersnation Everyday. You can leave your thoughts during the live show in the Charm Diamond Centre YouTube chat. Your questions, comments and concerns are wanted throughout the duration of the show.

Tyler and Liam sat down with former Edmonton Oilers defenceman Chris Pronger. The three of them discussed his time in Edmonton, his experience at the 2010 Winter Olympics with Team Canada and his new whiskey “The JRNY”.

Later in the show, the trade rumours continue to swirl with the deadline approaching this week. What could Edmonton do? Tyler and Liam will discuss some of the possibilities available to Ken Holland.

  1. Vegas will get Buchnevich so forget about it . Guentzels overpriced for a freshly injured rental . Toffoli ain't it , watch last night's episode of " running with the devil's " YouTube show , someone who actually follows NJ . Should have got Tanev and that's it . . .

  2. It’s so weird seeing Pronger on anything related to Oilers….. Tyler looks sooo star struck lol

  3. pronger was an absolute pleasure to watch in oilers threads! it might have been his best season. i’m thankful to have watched it. sure coffey too but pronger was the best oilers defensemen of all time. when he picked up the puck opposing teams cooled their forecheck’. his calm way with the puck and his nasty defending without it was beautiful.
