Well that was a hockey game
it’s kinda funny, ngl, that we got shutout by the same goalie 2 games in a row
it’s impressive tanking and I respect it
This is what we refer to as a bruh moment
Outscored 15-2 in the last three. I’m straight-up not having a good fucking time, bros.
* Bedard was denied on a breakaway.
* Annunen earned his first 2 career shutouts in back-to-back games against the Hawks.
* The Hawks have lost 15 of their last 16 games.
* The Hawks are 0-21-1 with a -65 goal differential in their last 22 road games. Their last road win was on Nov 9.
Yuck. Gotta remember we are bad by design. It’ll be worth it in a few years. See ya tomorrow

Well that was exactly what you’d expect to happen when a cup contending team faces off against a historically bad last place team. Nobody should have expected anything different.
At least pretend you care this team has zero motivation lately which they can’t afford as they are already bad enough when they are motivated

Curious where the Richardson Out people think we would be with Scotty Bowman behind the bench. There’s no effort problem beyond the one to be expected from a team that hasn’t cracked 40 points in March, this roster is simply one of the least talented ever iced post-lockout
Only 11 more games until some of the young guys get called up
Can’t even be upset. This was expected. Excited for the future tho. Tank now. Get celebrini next season. (I’m delusional for this next part but hear me out) toews and Kane come back for a final season/two seasons to mentor the rookies, they go out with one more cup- hand over the team to brini and Bedsy. All is good in the world.
