We got Berggren as barter though, would have to be some sort of package deal.
This should be a lesson for SY to draft forwards and more forwards.
I think Yzerman will try and move out a D-man Holl would be ideal (may have to retain 25-50%) and possibly make a minor move to fill depth gap… We are one top LW from solidifying the top 6 into a force, but I don't think this gets addressed until the offseason once all the RFA and pending UFA contracts are settled. Would be ok with 8 year deal to Seider and Raymond (or bridge deal). Resign Kane and possibly Sprong then part with Perron and Gostisbehere unless they get team friendly deals.

Tough call on Seider, they have Edvinsson , who is basically playing with his food in Grand Rapids, and this kid will undoubtedly be a factor in Seiders signing.
I saw a article about teams being interested in Holl. If someone wants to pay anything to get that contract off the wings books I'm all for it. Seventh round pick? Sold! Hell, I'd settle for future considerations. He and petry are a huge issue going forward.
Keep in mind that the Grand Rapids Griffins are on an absolute tear lately and I don’t think Yzerman wants to disrupt that too much either.
Another option for Detroit, with Jake Guentzel, would be for Yzerman to have Dubas do a sign and trade, so that the extension is in place when the trade happens, and they don't have to worry about Jake being a rental.
