One other aspect that really has an impact on his scoring is his aggro forecheck, yes it can lead to assists instead of goals but he is really good at winning a battle deep and centering the puck and THEN doing his net front work all in one play
he is really skilled – perhaps one of the most deceptive players in nhl and he rarely plays a bad game. great stick handle and vision. if he was faster he would be super great.
