I bet Petey asked what was so tempting on the trade table from Carolina. He realized it was a big statement the team wanted him that much. It would have been a big package. Great to know we have a superstar to watch for many years to come.
He’s been great this year considering the fact that is he has not had steady line mates.

Having watched most of the games the last month, I was getting the feeling that Petey was a bit distracted. Given the timing of this announcement, it’s a good chance that the negotiations had started to drain a little too much of his focus. So, hopefully he gets back to his true form now that he doesn’t have this floating in the back of his mind anymore. 👍🏻💙💚👍🏻
