Interesting move seeing how we’re already a top D team in the league and still getting better. Probably a depth move for the playoffs after the 700 defensive playoff injuries last year.
What do we think the price is here?
Given our trade history with Calgary in recent years, Hanifin will turn into a Norris trophy winner after he’s traded to us
Don’t wanna lose Gus or Monty. Hannafin would 100% lock out one of them from signing a realistic deal(Reinhart priority number 1) with us. Hanny also a lefty and we are stacked w lefty d men. Also what would go the other way? Lundell? OEL if he wants to sign w Cal? Both? Got a lot of roster spots to fill at seasons end.
Wouldn’t mind getting Weegar back for Ekblad straight up(please?).
Idk if with the camp of more winger depth. I’m not on the hate cuzzo at every breath type fan. But him being on the second line is kinda bananas.
