he consistently eats PK minutes and MSL trusts him defensively. wouldn’t be sad to see him go if we got a decent return for him, but we have loads of late round picks that i don’t really see a point in moving him. he’s stable enough as a 3rd liner that i think he should stay for at least another year as we develop more prospects and bring them up to the nhl. offensive production for the habs this season has been down for everyone aside from our top line, and i think he would be more productive with better linemates, i don’t think we should forget how impactful he was during our cup run a few years ago. i personally don’t really see him being moved by the deadline, maybe in a trade during the summer but still, we lack forwards. id be less surprised to see them move someone like kovacevic since we seem to have a logjam at D and think he would probably get a better return considering his age and contract
this is all just my opinion so take it w a grain of salt (pls dont crucify me for liking mario armia on the 3rd line)

I think an analytics department would drive a trade for a guy like Armia where he has specific special teams skills and has strengths in certain situations.
