  1. And let’s talk about the cross check after the Donato goal.

Let me on the ice for free. I’ll be his goon and protect our boy. I’ll get my ass whooped but they gonna know

I like how they said it’s “big boy hockey” yet almost every player has the emotional capacity of a five year old

I’ll put on some skates and line someone up if they want to put me out there. At my age I can do this exactly once a season.

Perhaps the hawks should claim Evgeny Kuznetsov from the caps to play with Bedard

I’m honestly not surprised at the league not protecting its super stars. I didn’t like the response from the hawks nor their entire game from the first shift last night. Seth (bum) jones, can’t play defense for 9mm let alone 3mm. He complains about losing but you’ll never hear him want to leave because he’s getting PAID. I’m not saying every time Bedard gets breathed on the hawks need to do something but the slash and that cross check in the back need to be addressed right away.

Bedard will have to get through this year and hopefully next will start getting a lot more calls. He’s getting the rookie treatment for sure. We also need someone to actually stand up for him besides Foligno ffs

The league seems to be moving more and more to the clutch and grab type of hockey prevelent in the 2000’s. The cheap hits and the general amount of shit that isn’t getting called is fucking ridiculous. It’s making the game unwatchable.

Iirc, Bedsy cheap shots Manson in the corner 30 seconds before Manson slashed him on the wrist. Retaliation isn’t an excuse for what he did but Laz is completely skipping over the build up.

  10. This is the team KD has assembled. If teams feel like it’s open season on CB the Hawks need players who can and will step up w/ an appropriate response. I haven’t seen that all season. I blame Kyle from Chicago.

Do we need different rules for superstars?

Hits to the head aren’t an issue any longer, they happen regularly with no punishment.

These guys need to get bigger and stronger. Way too many undersized kids coming into the league leading to injuries.

Put on 20 lbs of muscle in the off season and take care of yourself.

Getting the Justin Fields treatment. You hate to see it
