The Minnesota Wild lost 3-1 to the St. Louis Blues in St. Louis on Saturday night to fall to 28-27-6. The Wild fell behind early in this game, but thanks to Jon Merrill they tied the score 1-1. The Blues scored the final two goals of the game and the Wild went to the penalty box 7 times on the night. Marc-Andre Fleury was great, but the Wild missed the net on 21 of their 43 shot attempts in route to another deflating loss to their slim playoff chances.

7 penalties, 20+ missed shots, just asking for an L
Boy you know it’s bad if I’m the first comment. We called it right about a week ago. Stick a fork in them they’re done. I remember the last year Marion Gaborik was here. He was injured most of the year and he came back with just a few games left. I remember how hopeless that situation was then. We knew Gaborik was leaving and we didn’t make the playoffs and boy we had some lean years. This feels like an awful two year run and we’re almost done with the first year. 13 year contracts are horse shit ideas and 5 to 7 years is especially the latter part is stretching it a bit. Erickson Ek and Kaprisov you could sign them to that long as long as half of it doesn’t hit the downhill starting at 37 or 38. Sorry guys I got nothing else.
See you next year, folks.
What was with that coach’s challenge? Are they blind? That was horrible!
This team has not been able to generate enough goals to win a hockey game please Billy G go out and get some goals scores you can’t win hockey game score in one or two goals not in this league he won’t be able to survive
We lost the game last season when Mason Shaw gave the inspirational let’s play hockey speech. That’s nice but don’t count on him getting us over the hump.
I always listen to your show, I came to your podcast because of Denny, I really enjoy his thoughts for today, alone with my friend's, his What the Hell are you smoking, is my favorite, my question when are you gonna have Denny on you show, he's the smartest hockey mind i know as he damn near always right, a fan ty for all the hard work you do Seth
Now we can offically stop the wild playoff talk it's a wrap time to sit down the vets & play the young guys / guys who are part if the future . Should also try to get flower & other guys to waive the no move clauses so we can at least add some additional assets in a lost season
20 plus years and people still buy tickets? This organization is handcuffed.
I should ask, Since Jon Merrill scored does that mean the One Chip Challenge is now on?
Well That pinetree smell in the Air = And the grass turning green = That's Golfing = NO dought where these boys going
Сезон для Дикарей окончен
Good cohost 2nite
All we need is “ A chip chair and a chance”. This season has been toast for 2 months it’s time to head to Vegas for a little golf and gambling.
There's no cost for failure on this club! They have "The Money's in the bank…they can't trade me, can't bench me!" syndrome!
Haynes just wants the boys to like him, he will not publicly hold anyone accountable! Game after game after game, plaster the chest symbol on the goalie and claim, "We tried" WHAT A COLOSSAL JOKE!!!
Here's a link to a helpful video for the Wild…

I was in St Cloud watching Denver obliterate the Huskies 👍 So I didn't see one second of the Wild game……….Looking at the standings, the draft lottery is still a possibility………
Helps if you have good coaching to help with eliminating these stupid penalties
Don't wish injury on anyone but at least JoJo will be out
The season officially ended against Nashville. Everyone knows this, including owner, GM, and players. The only naive people who still believe in a cup run are die hard fans. As was the case a month ago, tanking should be the top priority to get out of this persistent mediocrity.
