  1. It’s crazy that he retired over a decade ago and yet there are still a couple of guys about to play in this game in penguins jerseys that played against him.

  2. Mika Kiprusoff is a remarkable goalie I had the honour of seeing on the ice and meeting in person. He’s a genuine human being with great compassion for people his family and his team. This is a very special moment for Mika. Well deserved for a legend! Hats off to number 34!

  3. OMG it's a travesty that Fleury's jersey is not retired! Absolutely ridiculous! Why? Because the NHL is pissed with him cause he spoke the truth about the NHL and their "assistance program". Gutless that the Flames would follow the NHL's pathetic stance. Fleury is right up with Iginla as the best two Flames ever. Not even a question he's a Hall a Famer. Craig Conroy has to grab some balls and get Fleury's jersey up there. GUTLESS Flames ownership! Sickening, but hey he (Flames owner, better not name him or say bye to this comment) is a Globalist and a diddler so I guess I should not be surprised.

  4. One of the best goalie Mikaa Kifrusoff….for 9 years.I admire you I salute!God bless you,Take care!👍❤️🙏🏼

  5. I was in Grade 2 when Kipper played for the Flames and helped us make it to the Standley Cup Final and I was in Grade 11 by the time Kiprusoff played his Final NHL Game
I was a huge fan of Miikka Kiprusoff #34, Thank you Kipper and we will always remember you

    Go Flames Go 🔥

  6. He was just poor for national team… let in 4 goals in the first 10 minutes in Vancouver. 0-4 vs USA

  7. I remember World cup final Can – Fin where he allowed a goal in the start. Calmly he lifted his mask, took some water and only allowed one more goal in the match that ultimately ended Can 2 – Fin 1. I doubt Fin would've been in that final without him. A legend 🤘.

  8. Not much makes me miss being a kid but holy hell, that montage made me feel things. It was an honor to grow up watching em, he gave me my love and appreciation for goalies and made 9 years feel way too short. Well deserved.

  9. At that time hooking was allowed and probably average goals scored was 4.5 and now 6.5 so it was pretty easy for a goalie to have good looking stats then

  10. #34 was the reason to wake up at 3 AM in Finland on a school night to watch some amazing hockey. Thank you Kipper and the Flames.
