Boosh is fine for what they paid…Kipper saying a 3rd and a 6th is too valuable to give up for him is a joke, they gave next to nothing and they get a guy who played here, was decent with Reilly then and best of all is a Russian, someone who can talk with Sammy in their language, someone who came out of the same system and life experiences.

Ok …out on a limb here….(out of the box)….Toronto's 1st….to Washington to get O.V for the "rental"….Washington has to want to do it to give O.V a shot at another cup….and afterwards he can go back to Washington…if he wants to…( Washington will have to retain alot of this salary) but it would be a favor to O.V…for another chance….
This team is gonna get so caught up going all in AGAIN….more resources gone the clubs future could look pretty bleak pretty fast. Selling the future for the now hasn't worked for them yet. Pretty good video. McDavid v Gretzky is near impossible. Different lifestyles, routines, technology, not to mention Gretzkys impact on the game that led to McDavid playing the way he does and coaches teaching the way they do. On the surface McDavid is likely the better all round player, but in the age of enforcers, is McDavid getting through the neutral zone so easy? Gretzky was great because he read the game, not because of his skills, and that's what made him so mesmerizing. He shouldn't have been that good. As for Oilers trades, if I'm the GM, I'm looking for defense. I'm guessing it won't be a significant player though, more depth and maybe even a defensive center.

Had they given a 1st for Tanev you guys would be all over them for using a first, it's so easy to sit in a studio and SAY you want this and that but lets try to keep it a buck shall we? Name me a top 4 D-Man the Leafs could get before the deadline that ISN'T a rental for a 1st round pick.. just 1! You can't because they don't exist!
