Brutal. Wishing the best for Mark, as he’s had a very difficult month.

It was a brutal slide into the board with his head snapping and impacted the boards. Fact that he was able to get off the ice on his skates and not a board is a testament to his will. The man is a warrior and has been his whole career.

Get well soon Gio! See you in the playoffs.

Hope that’s not the last play of his career

A concussion like that at his age is bad. I hope he’s done for his own sake

  5. Hope he recovers well. Life haven’t been exactly kind to him lately… Stay strong Mark!

  6. Hard to be optimistic about him coming back from that at this stage in his career.

Get those LTIR $$$$$ just in time for the trade deadline 🙂

Ah fck man. Rest up gio. Don’t rush back.

Be a real shame if he can’t come back until game 1 and we have to find a use for that cap space…

Get better soon Gio. Love ya bud 💙🙏🦾

Not surprised, really hope he gets to come back and go out on a high note rather than that being the last play of his career.

He’s gotten a lot of flack for his performance this season but he always tries really hard and never thinks twice before risking his body blocking shots and diving for scoring opportunities.

I’m glad the rest of the boys got the win for him last night.

Fuuuck man. You could see it in the replay, he never lost consciousness but there was that look when he first raised his head back up. You could see in his face, he wasn’t 100% sure where he was at that moment.

It’s a tough injury at a tough stage in his career, but if there’s anyone out there who can battle back, it’s Mark Giordano. Get well soon Gio!

Happy to hear there wasn’t any spine/neck injury at least. Play looked really scary.

    Speedy recovery Gio <3

  14. Bro that scared me almost as much as the Perry knee on Tavares.

Immediately when I saw the play I cringed and said “fuck that’s a concussion”

Then he showed the decorticate posture thing you see with concussions…ugh. Brutal

Really wish him a speedy recovery. That shit looked bad

Reminded me of Mike Modano nearly snapping his neck on the end boards a long while ago. Was a super scary play, even scarier given his age. Hope Gio that big ol beauty hope he’s ok!

February 2024. The month where Gio’s Papa died and his career ended

  18. LegitimateRadish8

Brutal month. Regardless the of criticism of his play, Gio has given so much effort to this team in his time here. I truly truly hope he gets one more game in after this to end on a high.

Oof. He’s had a rough go of it lately.

I know he’s slowing down with age but I fucking love Gio. He always gives er a hundred percent and does whatever it takes. I remember this [fight](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-dXmQUmbEMw) earlier in the year taking on Dakota Joshua. At 40 years old he’s sticking up for his teammates and showing teams what happens when you fuck with us. I really hope we can win one for him this year.

I mean this in the best possible way because I love Gio… Please retire. Save yourself and make memories with your family and friends.
