this is Drury rewarding a guy that’s working hard in Hartford for his hard work and giving him the chance to step up and be the 7D for NYR next year. it could mean that Jones or Robertson are in play for a trade, but probably nothing more than Drury having one less thing to do in the summer imo.

Im fine with moving Jones if that’s what this means. We need to improve this team at the deadline if we want to be a contender come the playoffs and I’d much rather see Jones get moved than Othmann or Perrault or a first round pick.
