The path and career of Olli Juolevi has been less than stable. After getting drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in a very high spot in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, injuries have plagued the young Finnish defenceman. He finished up a great playoffs with the TPS Turku, and had a stellar stint with the Utica Comets last year, but had his season ended by a knee injury. Now, Olli Juolevi is back in action, but the plan for the young Finn isn’t as set in stone as a normal top 5 NHL prospect would typically be.

When he gonna be in that top 4?
I liked his play when he was in london, I just dont know if Vancouver is valuing him correctly. If he was on a team say detroit (lol) he would more than likely have played in the nhl by now atleast a few games.ik Vancouver has a bunch of solid defenseman and prospects but I think he's a guy who can work his way to a top 4 spot if you allow him to.
Hindsight is always 20/20, but at the time Juolevi wasn't even on my radar, I had Sergachev and Tkachuk way ahead of Olli.
I hope he does pan out for us
I like that they didn’t rush him in to the nhl when he wasn’t ready, but it’s unfortunate that he has had injuries.
As long as he’s healthy he will be a top 4 d

He definitely has a future with us, unless we trade him, he’s coming back from injury so he needs sometime to be himself again, in two years time he’ll be a canuks. -mark my words
he put up PP points in Utica but people who watched him said he was garbage who couldnt play well in his own zone :-S

If we drafted Tkatchuk we would've been too good the following season … . we wouldn't have been able to draft EP 40 …. ill take EP 40 over Tkatchuk anyday ..
