Obviously there’s some reasons to be concerned, but they’ll figure it out. Even with the bounces going their way a bit this year, we were completely outclassing teams for 4/5 months of the season so far. I think most fans can agree that a couple of things need to happen:

    – Put Lindholm with Pettersson, and stop breaking them up. Lindholm is adjusting to new systems and new teammates – give it a few weeks.

    – Hughes should be paired with Hronek, period.

    – Bains isn’t ready yet, and honestly hasn’t shown that he deserves even another game. Podkolzin would be better at this point. At least when Pod wasn’t at his best, he was invisible. Bains is noticeable for all of the wrong reasons.

    – Demko needs some rest.

    – This isn’t something that NEEDS to happen, but getting Joshua and Soucy back sooner than later will be huge.

I think we beat Anaheim and take at least 1/2 against LA and VGS. Let’s get this rolling in the right direction again.

Either put Pettersson and Lindholm back together or put the lotto line back together. Something needs to change here. I also think the power play needs to go back to what it was. I think getting back on the road for this team could he a good thing. I think getting away from all the noise in Vancouver might be something that does this team some good before the 9 game home stand.

The Canucks are simply getting outworked by teams lately. The Kings were playing like their hair was on fire last night and we weren’t. Boston plays that way to a man pretty much every shift in every game and the Canucks only do it sporadically.

We are standing stationary way too much while other teams are constantly moving their feet and beating us to loose pucks etc.

If they don’t fix their work ethic quickly don’t bet on a long playoff run. My personal belief is the Canucks don’t have the right personnel yet to play with utter desperation on every shift like the Bruins etc.
