On the Latest instalment of Spittin’ Chiclets (Hockeys Largest Podcast) Ryan Whitney claimed that an active player in the west stated “The Jets are the biggest Frauds in the league and will get bounced in the first round”. He went on to say that a first round matchup is possible between the Jets and this players team.

One thing that gets me is you look at the teams in the playoffs in the west only 3 have more than 5 wins in the last 10 games, Win, Nash, and LA. At the moment none of the teams that we could face in the first round are playing particularly well, but the Jets are ahead of them all in points %. This just sounds like salt and a little bit of analytics dudebroing.
I feel like people are overthinking this it’s probably just some random player. They don’t necessarily have to have an axe to grind about the city or team and is just calling us frauds because we haven’t had significant recent playoff success.
