A shoutout to Ivan Prosvetov who improved his record with the Eagles to 8-0-0.
Since clearing waivers and moving to the AHL affiliate, Ivan has posted an impressive 8-0-0 record including 2 shutouts, sporting a 1.25 GAA and .959 SV%
This is awesome. After the pressure put on him to back up Georgie, I was worried being sent down would hurt his confidence. Instead the opposite has happened – those numbers are brilliant at any level. You love to see it!

I was excited when we got him off wavers, shocked he passed and we could get him to the Eagles. Hope we keep the streak alive in Loveland and win the Calder Cup… shit I might go for fun if we make the finals

Unpopular opinion, but it just shows why you can’t get hyped for Eagles players and demand they play in the NHL, cause we’ve seen him in the NHL, and he didn’t rock a .959 save percent.
The leagues are vastly different, and even fringe NHL players will light them up. However, fringe NHL doesn’t mean NHL and I think lots of people forget about that.
Plus, when you have good defense, look how great Georgiev and Justus is? I was more impressed with Justus than Prosvetov and I was pretty excited for Prosetov this year.

Avs goalies and Broncos QBs, we just can’t quite get it right.

I think he is a better backup than Annunen right now. He gets more hate than he deserves in this sub. My ideal would be getting Ned from the Penguins though.

They’re coming to play the Wranglers, for selfish reasons, I want him to stay on the Eagles for two more games. But with the deadline coming up, I’m not sure..

I’m glad he’s finding success! I didn’t like how underutilized he was with the Avs and how everything was handled after the Florida game. I feel like he had good chemistry with Georgie, he always looked really happy for him after a win!
