February 27, 2024: Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe was ejected from Tuesday’s loss to the Vegas Golden Knights by referees Garrett Rank and Peter MacDougall. He was also issued a $25,000 fine by the NHL for “unprofessional conduct directed at the officials.”

As a long time hockey fan, that was some of the most inept and one-sided officiating I have ever seen. I was surprised the Maple Leaf players kept their cool as well as they did. So when do the officials get ejected and fined for their incompetence and "unprofessional conduct" in the performance of their responsibilities?
There should have been game misconducts issued to those fans who were staring at their damn phones at a Hockey game.
