  1. What happened to his kid Dean? Thought he played hockey at MSU a few years ago, looks like now he can barely walk.

  2. As a Red Wings fan I loved this. Chelios was one of my favorite Red Wings. In his 10, 11yrs in Detroit he helped us win 2 Cups, he went to 3 Cup finals in Detroit. He won the Silver medal in the Olympics for team USA in 01-02, which he was captain. He was nominated for a Norris Trophy in 02. He lost to his teammate Nick Lidstrom. When he was traded to Detroit in 1999, I bought his jersey a couple days later and still wear it. I just bought Kane’s Detroit jersey. I hope we extend his contract. Also, Chelly had a no trade clause. He had to waive it to come to Detroit.

  3. Cheli thank you for everything you did in Detroit and for the NHL. I’ll never forget meeting you at the Joe Louis Arena, buying your book and you signing it. Congratulations on an extremely well deserved accomplishment. One of the best to ever lace em up.

  4. As a Chicagoan now living in the Carolinas that made me home sick. That era of Blackhawks and Bulls teams were special.
