As a rangers fan they got this call right. Heās lining his head right up and makes no effort to avoid it. Yes Bastianās head is down but at the end of the day you canāt do that. Still love Rempe though been a while since weāve had a fun goon

I understand how Sieg gets a minor for roughing, but Rempe only got a roughing minor for his part in their altercation? He dropped his glove and threw a legitimate punch. I know everyone is going to say "don't turtle" in that spot, but Rempe only getting a minor for that punch is a bit odd to me.
A lot of people complaining itās a dirty hit donāt know hockey. A big reason why NFL got soft with the physicality. Rempe just skated into him with a check which is allowed if you have/had possession of the puck. Not Rempeās fault he practically double the size of the guy. Hope heās alright though. 2 of the biggest rules I got taught playing Hockey, Keep your head up and prepare to be hit at all times if you got the puck. Unfortunately the kid didnāt do either.

I think the worst part of this play is he just lets the puck go by him so he can finish the hit. Makes the whole thing seem extremely unnecessary

These are really tough. It looks bad initially but you have one guy at 6ā and another at 6ā7ā. Rempe doesnāt leave his feet, his arm and elbow stay tucked to his body through the entire hit. I donāt see this as ejectable. Irresponsible and aggressive but not overly illegal. A 5 minute for charging because he went full speed and never was trying to play the puck.
Legal hit thatās why he wasnāt suspended. Heās just a tall guy.
