Way too sloppy through the neutral zone tonight, I saw no structure off the puck. Too many turnovers, this Ducks team has no business being in this game yet we just presented them rushes over and over.
Got to clean it up or this is a short season.

1-5 before tonight but weren’t losing to the Ducks PERIOD
Really fun game, but it felt like the ducks were a little bit too dangerous. New defensive pairs maybe threw things off, but it really made for an intense game to watch. Good tending in this one.
Always take the +2 and always take a shootout win, but not a complete game by any means. Also, not to pick on the guy, but Kaliyev… whew, buddy. Dude should probably not be in the line up. GKG

Absolutely chaotic game and fun to watch. Ducks played with playoff energy (because this is as close to a meaningful game they will get). I was happy with our energy but I wonder if a lot of the sloppiness was from switching from the 1-3-1.
Rittich settled well, but had me very worried for the first half of the game. Just seemed out of position a lot, making panicky moves, and getting lucky breaks. I think a better team would have had us tonight.
In case anyone missed it, Kings won and the Oilers pissed their pants in piss colored pants. Great night! That 3rd spot in the division can still be ours!

So interesting that Gibson was the third star of the game. I’ve never attended a winning game where they named an opposing player as one of the three stars.
Glad we won the shootout, but does anyone else find it weird that both the Angels-Dodgers and Ducks-Kings games ended in a tie today?
Kalieyv should learn to shoot towards goal. Gavrikov couldn’t receive some easy passes which led to turnovers. Good game anyway.
Clarke made a beautiful move getting the puck up high and inside, collected the rebound and made a beautiful wrap around attempt. I couldn’t help but think we don’t have a goalie who can move laterally that way in time to make both saves like Gibson did.
