    Guys.
    I have seen a lot of good hockey teams in my life.
    The 60s Canadians.
    The 70s Islanders.
    The the 80s oilers.
    The Lightning.
    The Bruins.
    The Panthers.
    But NEVER have I seen 2 players get hat tricks on the same team in 1 yr .
    Does Auston Mathews have a hatty ?
    That would be 3 different players on the same team
    In 1 yr with Hat tricks .
    This goes down in the history books guys !
    Sheldon, this is something you should tell your Grand Children !
    And they were all wins !
    And Sami was in the net for ALL of them !
    Great game you played tonight Sami !

    Rielly is the reason for this winning streak. He lit a fire under these guys. That is what a big hit or fight does for a team sometimes. Like Clark did for many years.

    Big turn around this month for the Leafs & great game. Now add in a bit of playoff officiating games – will things change for the Leafs in the spring? Time will tell – as they all looked good tonight & maybe their playoff run comes this spring?😀

    Awesome…soooo nice when a team comes together and everyone is playing at a high level and with discipline and unselfishly…the sky is the limit if we can build on this, keep the good habits and keep all this momentum going forward ❤❤❤❤

    It seems like each of the last two seasons there's been a point where they've been playing lackadaisical and everybody's giving up on them and suggesting the coach should be fired and then they have a stretch where they pull it all together and they start playing with discipline and winning and winning and turn it all around and here we are again…the multi million dollar question is can they play this way in the playoffs???

    Anyone else notice that during this winning streak there almost zero stretch passes to Willy waiting at the other team's blue line? Good things happen when they cut down on turnovers.
