Holy Junpin! What a night for blues hockey:

3. Binner 38 save shutout
4. Binner moves into a tie for 3rd with CuJo for most wins in franchise history (137)
Binner really just made a 38 save shutout feel like a 15 save shutout
Drew Bannister got onto that bench, remained professional, and did not commit any inappropriate sexual acts towards any of the players.
He got the boys going with his honesty and legitimate leadership.

The slow first period had me a little concerned, but then the 2nd absolutely exploded. It’s a rare thing to get 3 goals in less than 40 seconds and it’s always great when you get to see it happen.
Binner was an absolute wall and gave Patrick Roy’s Isles a clinic on goal tending tonight.
Buchy was absolutely beautiful tonight and doesn’t need to go anywhere.
The cherry on top was the ref’s “You’re not going to like it…” call. Genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in a hockey game.
No notes, good fucking game
Binner’s got swag. Sitting in the bench with rivers post game after getting first star and doesn’t even look like he broke a sweat tonight.
