Surprised Keefe started Sammi tonight. So he trusts Jones more against Vegas?
Dubas went all in last year, he added 2 defensemen (schenn, McCabe), a stud 3rd line centre (o'rielly), and a couple hard checking 4th liners (achari,lafferty). The leafs barely made it past the 1st round, and got smoked in the 2nd round. Keefe was clearly out coached the entire post season.
Fast forward to this year, what are the leafs trade deadline needs? 2 defensemen, 3rd line centre, and some hard checking 4th liners.
What makes anybody in the leafs organization think that even if we were able to do what we did last year (which is most likely impossible because we have no draft picks left), that Sheldon Keefe would have any idea what to do with them??

Nylander wasn't taking any crap last night which was nice to see.
Reilly a fine offensive dman ,but was never a defensive stalwart has the worst plus minus on the team at +1 and Brodie who is a not a scorer has the best with +19. Reilly is hyped by the media pundits who are looking at numbers . Brodie is a more complete dman and has better defensive awareness.
These guys are all giggles…you should see them when the leafs are on a losing streak….the leafs affect your mental health, trust me I know!
