As a life long goalie, there was a team I played for who's top defenseman had the hardest shot in the league. That sucker was a bullet. My thinking at the time was, if I can bring up my game to stop his shots I would be all the better for it. Since I feared no puck, one day while dressing for practice I told him and the rest of the guys, they all shoot like a girls. They all chuckled while winking to each other. Long story short…my evil plan worked. I finished my rookie season as top goalie and we won the championship to boot. The best time of my life.
