Bedard is a great player, just absolute shit he got stuck with the Hawks. In a year or two I hope he either gets the support he needs or traded to a team with some actual cup potential.
I think it’s funny how the goalie was fucking with bedard and he just gave him the death stare after scoring. He is starting to make a statement to a lot of these players that wanna fuck with him.
I was watching this game. Canes took control early. In the first two periods it was all Canes. Aho even had a nice reverse hit on Bedard. Bedard came out in the 3rd and just put the Blackhawks on his back. I was thinking the Canes might let the Blackhawks get a come-from-behind win if they didn't tighten things up, but they buttoned down. The Canes are just a better team with a more rounded roster.
He may not be able to single-handedly roll other teams, but he can (evidently) single-handedly save the Blackhawks from absolutely 0 viewers. They REALLY stink and he is the ONLY reason to watch. Now the call for honesty… how can they possibly hold onto him in the future. There is no way.

as well as we scores and as much as he already distributes I think Bedard's game evolves in to a playmaker type instead of a high goal scorer – especially when he starts to play with better players.
I hope he just continues to wear the protective "gifted child" face shield …he's not a fighter and it doesn't seem to impede him in any way …He is just what the Hawks and hockey needed .
I hate the offsides review negating a goal. Like the linesmen in the NHL is so good that any overturn would be because of like a millimeter worth of offsides. None of these offisdes had any real affect on the play. Who really cares if they missed a millimeter? The point of offsides is to prevent cherry picking.
