Long overdue and hopefully this helps him get his confidence back. Don’t think there’s any denying the talent is there. He was productive in Rockford for years he was there plus his stint last year. Still way, way, waaaay too early to give up on him, especially with where the Hawks are in the rebuild.

I like Reichel, I want to see him succeed, but this is absolutely a necessary move. I had a feeling they were waiting for more guys to return from IR before they made the shift. He needs to work on his confidence and I don’t think the NHL stage was the right place for him at this time. Hopefully he comes back stronger.

Bummer hes struggling. Hopefully not a marko dano situation where a guy has a great first 30-40 games and flames out. On the plus side Kurashev has been better than expected

If so, leave him there and let him help the team chase a Calder Cup, and then bring him up next year and see if has his confidence back.
