Boston and Florida are tied for first in the division. I believe that is an important distinction you left out for some reason. Again the subtle Bruins slander. It's constant. Yes, they win the tiebreaker but it's still a tie at the moment.
I was at Penguins-Hawks in-person, and it's insane how there's such a night-and-day difference for the Hawks offense with and without Bedard.

WAY too many penalties by the Canucks. I hope Toccs rattles that out of them. Imagine the score if they had been more disciplined… Having said that, really great to see their PK absolutely killing it (lol). Also, nice comeback win after their loss in Detroit. That's how you answer the bell. Not with a stick to the chops.
Let's take a look at where The Athletic projected the Canucks to finish this season for points… 92.4. Welp, they might blow clean past that. The Hockey News had the Canucks 6th in the Pacific (LOL! I had them 3rd at worst). The Hockey Writers had Petts and Kuzmenko each scoring 50 goals (I laughed out loud, but only because I expected Kuzmenko to at least crest the 40 goal mark… He fooled us all). But they also projected the Canucks to be in the top three seeds for the Pacific (much like I did), so not bad.
Now, this is kind of geeky stuff (it's MoneyPuck, after all), but MP has the Canucks at 100% chance of making the playoffs. No other team has those odds. lol… It's weird because they have Dallas at 99.97% (yeah, for them to miss the playoffs, they'd have to lose their entire top six forwards and top four D to injuries..) but Dallas edges them in Stanley Cup odds by 0.6%. But, predictions are a fickle thing. Right THN?

The refs were so awful last night in the Devils/Kings game it made me want to fly to Africa go on a safari so I can trophy hunt some zebra.
For 3 assists, how about throwing apples on the ice? But only hollow plastic ones that wouldn't hurt anyone, wouldn't make a mess, and would be sold only at the arena for a ridiculous price.

Not to knock Stolarz’ performance but of his 45 stops, I’d say 38-40 were the kind where a goalie simply reaches up/out and grabs a harmless point shot.
Twice it looked like something might trickle behind him; both times a Panther was there to swat the danger away. Buffalo rarely goes to the net; they don’t have the size to play that way (as a team) yet when they do, good things happen. It’s aggravating.
