In before the Oilers apologists who post constantly about how scary they are and piss their pants every time 97 steps over the boards

I think it’s only fair to point out that (based on my quick count just now) Edmonton played three fewer games over that timespan, so a one-to-one comparison doesn’t really work. We’ve been playing great for the most part, of course, but this needs more context.

At this point, only playoff success matters.

Guy already made a comment about being scared of the oilers but it’s a weird situation. We don’t really have to worry about them until the second round, in which they will have to survive Vegas.

The only thing scares me about the Oilers is Crysaitl throwing a tantrum and trying to cheap shot someone when he’s losing
superworking
Since November 24th (beginning of the period in question) the Oilers have the best record (52 points in 32 games). The Canucks have the second best record (53 points in 35 games).
So yea they didn’t gain a ton on the Canucks now that we include their 2 win 3 loss run, but they gained a shit ton on the rest of the teams and they still closed the gap.
Realistically the Oilers have a very tricky schedule remaining but I still don’t want to see them in the playoffs.
