  1. I've often repeated that Kuzy needs a more open cycle and freedom to play creatively, so I'm hopeful he'll get that playing with Huberdeau and a rebuilding team in Calgary. Tocchet was doing what he felt would be best for the team, but Kuzy wasn't really the right fit for that, and it's good to see him free to stretch his wings in a different system(Lindholm plays more inline with how Tocchet likes it too, so obviously it makes the team deeper/more reliable). Still think Canucks overpaid a bit for Lindholm, but given we've got this year and maybe the next before the buyout penalties, cap penalties(Luongo contract) and other cap issues shrink the window, this would just be part of doing business for a shot at a deep run.

  2. Sometimes a change just brings back the enthusiasm for the game..or refreshes it. It’s great to see.

  3. Seeing Kuz out of the Canucks jersey makes me sad, but I am happy he got the goal game one and hope he gets his mojo with the flames.

  4. Those 2 deflects by Lindholm were pretty nice not gonna lie. Good Game Vancouver Demko played good tonight. Kochetkov has gotta get back on his A game coming back from his injury.

  5. Don’t know what happened in that Flames locker room with Darryl and Treiliving but it definitely rubbed a lot of the Flames the wrong way
    Time to rebuild

  6. Win win flames beat Boston to help Vancouver with kuzmenko scoring and lindholm scores twice against his former team and Canucks win.

  7. Second 3-point game for Huberdeau since joining Flames. Maybe Kuzmenko will change things.
