I do not know why the GM woukd be holding out on trading Allen. What could Mtl expect as a return? Not much. It will likrly depend on salary retained. No salary and a 6th would be good.

Cayden did not look good in the past few months. On 5-0 shutout he received only 13 shots. And this 3 goalie rotation is causing huge discouragement for Allen (7-2) against Blues. Allen was much better before Cayden came. Noorul.

If Slavkosky keeps improving as he now doing when he hit 22 imagine he could be a power forward like MTL has not had for a long time. He is showing promissing progression. 19 years old still learning how to use his body. I am happy for this cause at the start of the season i was in favor sending him in laval. Glad is wasn't the coach lol I trust the Habs developping capabilities . what did I know right? when Kerby Dock comes back healthy i can't wait for that moment.

Zegras has had multiple 60+ pt seasons. Hes definitely established himself
It's one thing to look at those stats and they are impressive alright, but what is the most impressive in that is Slaf's consistency, his regularity in all aspects of his game, heck even his shot now. We all wished and expected for him to improve this season on several key aspects, but i don't think anyone would have expected of him to become this consistently reliable this soon. He's playing like a bona fide true and tested top 6 player aged 24 to 29 from a team poised for PO games. He'll only turn 20 late March.
I would give up Harris, Hutson, for Zegras
