Dhali says he was basically asked if he was on drugs when he brought up Ristolainen with his sources lmao

I think this rumor can be put to rest until another Philly writer will try to connect him to Vancouver this offseason probably

If we could get him twice retained at 50% without giving up any assets then I would go for it. Another 3 years at $1.275mil would be alright.

Personally, I’m not convinced that John Weisbrod isn’t hiding in some utility closet somewhere wait for someone to forget to log off their email.

Yes. Logic would have normal people asking why the Canucks are looking at Risto. But years of trader Jim doing his thing has left most of us with PTSD

Someone trying to use the Canucks to drum up some interest in just anyone because we have the most active GM in the league. Benning doesn’t work here any more.

Obviously a part of Ristolainen’s contract would be retained by the Flyers if there was any sort of deal, why wouldn’t the Canucks be interested if the price is reasonable?

  7. Thank fuck. But really this isn’t the JB regime so who was actually worried about this honestly?

It’s going to be gibberish when the Leafs acquire him at the deadline.

I’m imagining the cliches Bemning would have used when he announced the trade.
